REz week Volunteering

Every spring, the Body of Christ at UT Austin gathers together in united worship, prayer and evangelism. It's the best week on campus every year! There is 24-hour prayer and worship, a 24/7 coffee tent, performing artists and speakers every day, $1 dinners, free speech boards and worship together every night at 7pm.

Hospitality Team

Serving coffee, cocoa, and tea to those that come by each hour and talking with students about Rez Week when they come by for a drink.

Prayer Tent Team

Taking an hour in the 24/7 prayer tent to pray, lead worship, or play an instrument while others pray.

Intercessory Prayer

Manning a table at Rez Week where people can come to receive prayer.

Outreach Team

Starting conversations with students on Gregory Plaza who pass by and write on the free speech boards, with the goal of sharing the Gospel.

Setup & Breakdown Team

Helping set-up Gregory Plaza the day before Rez Week starts, helping break down Gregory Plaza the night Rez Week ends, and helping unload and load the sound truck before and after the evening events.

Visual Artists

Contributing art to the art gallery in the coffee house or working on a 4x7 foot mural onsite during the five days of Rez Week.

Performing Artists

Performing original songs, poetry, or drama at the coffee house during the afternoons.

Shift Supervisor

Put your administrative talents to the test! Supervise all volunteers for 3 hour shifts to help answer questions, step in when needed, and more. This role will require special training by the Campus Renewal Core Team.
